Almost tempted to have a go myself. Evidently the first series did well enough for a return so we’re intrigued to see where it ends up going. 3pm seems quite likely to me as Tipping Point leading into The Chase is doing great things for both, although I still think it’d be odd to have two lots of Brad in an afternoon.
Still I liked series one in the main so look forward to seeing if there’s any tweaks for series two.

Yes I know embedding a tweet makes the comments jump about all over the place, I’m sorry.
Other things of interest:
BBC4’s two-off revival of Pop Quiz with Mike Read films on the 15th in Salford. Tickets: http://www.bbc.co.uk/showsandtours/shows/pop_quiz_15dec16

A bit of a sad story involving Jeopardy!

Talking of being trapped C4 have announced Escape – which seems to be an escape room challenge without a challenge. Contestants will be dumped in a location amongst wreckage “inspired by real events” and use the debris to build a means of escape from the location. Basically a retooled Scrapheap Challenge.

Interestingly at the helm is the bloke from SAS: Who Dares Win, which I guess by usual UKGS rules is a gameshow (members of the public take part, is one overall winner) but doesn’t seem to have been considered as such.
More because we forgot about that than anything else I’d imagine.

Isn’t 27, January the earliest we’ve ever picked our entry? Gives us two extra months to get an actual performance instead of just a song, I guess.
Yeah, we’re usually one of the last to reveal our entry. On BBC2 this year as well, which is nice.
According to Weaver’s Week, Alphabetical has also been renewed.
