[Don’t forget it’s Bother’s Bar Game Night on Saturday! Do join us from 9:30pm.]
How does Stephen Mulhern get so much work? Surely it’s impossible to front as many shows as he does. And you’re right, it IS impossible, and that’s because everyone on telly claiming to be Stephen Mulhern these days is actually a franchisee, able to use his image, likeness and approximate character under license.
The REAL Stephen Mulhern hasn’t worked since getting accidentally whacked on the head by an errant potato on the set of Globo Loco, the kids show from 2003-4 where kids tried to predict the winner of wacky Banzai! style challenges ably assisted by the crime novelist Peter Cocks, better known as the guy who beat up Paul Ross on Endurance UK after getting slapped about one to many times.
I’m afraid this is the best quality episode on Youtube. And it doesn’t seem to even feature the spinny sofa potato throwing game.
Sadly it was:
Spinny Sofa Potato Throwing Game: Series 1
Bog Standard Memory Game: Series 2
So if your story is correct maybe even that isn’t the REAL Stephen…
It isn’t. You can tell because it’s a slightly younger looking person.
Stephen’s new show The Next Great Magician starts next Sunday with Rochelle Humes. Pete Firman, who hosted the CBBC game shows Stake Out and Wait For It happens to be one of the magicians on it.
Tipping Point Lucky Stars next Saturday has three of the Chasers (Anne, Mark and Paul) on it.
Pete Firman was also one of the resident magicians, on BBC One’s ‘The Magicians’ a couple of years ago.
1970: Mike Bongiorno unleashes Jeopardy! on the Italian soil.
Because of a mistake in the question writing, the whole first episode was demoted to pilot status.

We have a slam dunk winner for “most annoying timer music” EVER.
It’s ridiculously annoying, a cross between a vehicle continually reversing and a microwave finishing.
In a game changing twist, the Deal weekend shows are returning for a few Saturdays to burn off the episodes quicker by the looks
