You might remember we’ve featured word association game The Hit List before, a going concern from Friends Of The Bar Tom Scott and David Bodycombe (currently featuring in Tom’s Game On videos on Youtube).
Well on Thursday night they’re doing it again with live gameplay from 8pm to try things out and you can play along on Twitter. However if you’ve got Skype and a webcam, and especially if you’re outside the UK, you should get in touch:
And you’ll be able watch to play along on Thursday on Tom’s Youtube channel.
A bit of interesting news- GSN in the US is taking a look at Divided (it’s “in development”)..
Interested to see how they get on with it, it’s not really been a success anywhere, two series on ITV is an anomaly really.
Joko and Klaas will have their a new show end of April/May. It’s called Die Beste Show Der Welt (the best show in the world) and will feature eight different formats. Joko will vompete against Klaas with his formats and vice versa. The winner is the person the audience choses with their remotes in the studio because “it’s all about the ratings”. The Promo Pics are weird collages full of white horses with wings and stuff. Might be a funny show!
oh, all my lowercase Is dIssappeared as well
Very odd, I just noticed it on my mobile as well – the mobile aspect is carried out by WordPress’ Jetpack plugin thing which had an update yesterday and another update this morning, your Is should have returned now.
This sounds like an extended version of that thing with three different formats with Jorg Pilawa a few years ago.
That’s true although they will probably have more variety/comedy formats now.
One of those three Pilawa formats (8 steps) has been adopted to Argentina and they say it’s a success.
Well look, I get why you did it as a proof of concept but if you’re planning that much chat for television you’re dead.
I like the new structure, I miss the lateral thinking aspect.
Today was a tech test to see how video calling fits in. I would hope people give us more credit than that…
Good news as Skype found to work!
The international aspect is much less interesting to the million plus bread and butter national viewers than it will be to the three thousand people who might be watching abroad.
