Tonight’s guests on the popular singing-based quiz show are David Baddiel, Clemency Burton-Hill, Philip Hensher, Hugh Dennis, Bonnie Greer and AN Wilson.
This is on at 7:30pm on BBC2, Children in Need is this Friday.
Before that at 7pm is Match of the Day – LIVE! featuring the FA Cup second round draw, I would expect it’s lo-tech way of drawing will work out better than the lottery did on Saturday.
It’s not the first time the draw machine has gone wrong, of course:
Wild Things up for a Rose d’Or, and stands a decent shout I reckon: http://www.rosedor.com/news.html#article-6
Looking at the nominations, it does appear to be very UK-heavy.
We do better with these noms than Eurovision!
Good recovery all round.
Monkhouse the next week: “Lord, I know I’m a jerk, but please make this work!”
In that 3-part Bob Monkhouse documentary that aired a couple of months ago, they had some behind the scenes footage from that incident- Bob stayed on stage with the warm-up person for the entire time joking around with the audience until they were able to do the drawing after the end of the following program…
Those were the days when you could get Elton John and Pavarotti as your guests on the lottery show.
