Saturday 15th November,
7:15pm UK (8:15 on the continent),
ProSieben and naughty internet streaming
Well it had to happen sometime – I couldn’t make the last commentary a fortnight ago so Stefan decided to pull a sickie and defer the episode for two weeks until after I had moved house. However he’s BACK and so are we this Saturday for more live action fun action. Again he will be defending his jackpot (this episode standing at €2.5m) from a member of the public over 15 mystery games. Well 14 and Blamieren oder Kassieren.
And again we will be providing sort-of-live commentary, which doesn’t really work as live commentary because of all sorts of delays. HOWEVER it will likely be fun to listen to, and will likely feature all sorts of fun and games along the way. So why not come and join us? David J Bodycombe, Daniel Peake, Lewis Murphy and myself (*) should all be along.
The musical turns this episode are Bother’s Bar favourites Die Fantastichen Vier and The Script. I know! THE The Script!
Here are the deets.
Here are all the links you need:
The direct link to our live Youtube commentary stream is here. This stream is commentary only. You will need to have a naughty stream running at the same time for the visuals. We are likely to be about 15-20 seconds behind the visual stream, sorry.
This is the primary stream we will be watching live and basing our commentary on.
That stream will probably go down at some point during the evening, here’s our first back-up one. If it all goes down, once we’ve finished panicking, we’ll put up links to streams we can find on here and on Twitter.
Follow us on Twitter for immediate news if something goes wrong. Or because we’re fun guys!!!! @bothersbar, @danielpeake, @ogbajoj, @davidjbodycombe.
(*) Provided my modem doesn’t decide to brick itself between now and then, obviously.
I have found a “naughty internet streaming” for the Mediaset Extra channel, which airs mostly reruns.
in a few moments, it’ll air Avanti Un Altro! and after that, Urka! (the Italian Remote Control, the first show with the Bonolis and Laurenti)

Well what an incredible six-and-a-bit hours of television that was, non-Christmas Christmas Special December 20th. Thansk for listening, see you then!
That was some marathon… well done to everyone that lasted the distance tonight. Looking forward to the same next month – perhaps without Ringing the Bull and Baseball!
MySpass is once again pretty quick at chucking up the videos (all the individual games are available so far) and can be accessed from outside Germany – http://www.myspass.de/myspass/shows/tvshows/schlag-den-raab/
Be prepared… Game 4 (Baseball) lasted 34 minutes, and Game 15 (Ringing The Bull) lasted 61 minutes!
I would like to thank you for that live commentary – That was a really fun evening Even with that Hour of Ringing the Bull.
Shamelessly repeating a joke I made on twitter:
A night that will be best remembered for a game that proved truly impossibull.
