This came up about a week ago but seems like Exactly The Sort Of Thing We Like so is worth mentioning as there’s not much else on.
BBC1 has ordered a new show called Prized Apart where contestants take on adventure challenges with the worst performing flying back to the UK where friends and family do a quiz to keep them in the game.
Looking forward to seeing that.
Meanwhile ITV have commissioned Philip Schofield hypnotism thing You’re Back In The Room, where players attempt to perform simple tasks whilst hypnotised.

Don’t forget that after a while, people think “I’ll iPlayer it later”. I think it’s unfair to judge it based on overnights.
Most timeshifted stuff counts for the overnights though.
Don’t get me wrong, I think it’s doing fine – very well even. But I thought it’d do slightly better.
A little thing about US Utopia- one of the cast is secretly pregnant, and plans to keep it hidden from the others for as long as possible. In the (unlikely) event the show lasts long enough, this will bring new meaning to a intruders twist….
Wink Martindale and crew have posted the promo reel for the (unsold) 2006 U.S. revival of Catch Phrase, with appearances by Mr. … um … who?
Mr Clues! Amazing.
Prized Apart sounds awful – definately a show where they thought of the name first and the game later.
Being off for the Bank Holiday I decided to tune into Countdown…seems while I’ve been away they’ve thrown away the dictionary in dictionary corner and replaced it with a laptop?!
