Or was it “watching you watching us watching you watching us”? Or even “watching you watching us watching us watching you”?
Anyway Big Brother‘s back tonight (C5, 9pm) with its exciting “power trip” theme. The house looks absolutely terrific. You will be able to vote with the official iThing app, and tonight you can affect the launch night twist. You can buy 2 votes for 99p, 4 votes for £1.99 and 6 votes for £2.99, which represents a flagrant disregard for usual bulk buying policy (the unit cost is higher the more you buy). That Big Brother, he just doesn’t care.
We’ve made some nice money on the betting markets the last few years (Dexter! Lauren Harries! Jim Davidson!). My advice is to keep your eye on Betfair. Back someone long (who looks as though they might be positively entertaining (funny, basically)) then lay them off towards the end if you don’t think they’ll win. You’re looking for people whose odds are stupid high but you think will shorten throughout the run. Big Brother winners are either obvious from the start or someone you don’t expect, pray for the latter.
Well it had to happen someday- I’m surprised it wasn’t sooner…

Potentially very exciting, but so was Release the Hounds and that turned out to be disappointing. Still, though.
Well they may think they’ve got nothing to lose anyway, since they’re going online-only….
It’s generally held that everyone on Big Brother goes in because they’re searching for something. Oftentimes, they don’t know what that is when they go in.
I hope that all of this year’s contestants are able to find what they’re looking for. And that they’re able to recognise it when the time arrives.
Well what a diverse group of successful business people they are.
And Pauline.

If Emma Willis can make that mistake on live television, so can I.
