Yesterday was the first meteorological day of Summer, but the Bother’s Bar Summer of Boredom has been in full swing for weeks now.
HOWEVER, we might just be approaching the end, or at least a positive blip. Here’s What’s Interesting This Week:
- Crime Scene – Who committed the school murder, and will they get away with it?
- Big Brother – The house pics look legitimately great. Starts Thursday.
- Celebrity 15-1 – Well it’s a thing that is on. Starts Friday.
- 31 Questions – The show that Bother’s Bar backed with actual money is back on access television in Melbourne on Saturday, so likely up on Youtube on Saturday also.
How exciting.

Yesterday a German conservative politician has called Angela Merkel in a celebrity Who wants to be a millionaire?-episode. Unfortunately she didn’t pick up, but she answered with a message, anyway it was a really funny episode!
In other news Release the Hounds is filming this month. A show set at nighttime and meant to be spooky filming when there are the fewest nighttime hours available. Best of luck!
I imagine the summer filming has been taken into consideration and necessary decisions made to deal with the lack of darkness outside. The team at work definitely think the series sounds scarier than the pilot.
Well let’s hope so!
There’s a contestant call out for Keep It In The Family with Bradley Walsh on SRO: http://www.sroaudiences.com/shows.asp
Chain Reaction is back again in Italy, now with an updated graphics package and Amadeus as the host.
he needs to work on his reaction time 🙂
Turning a ninety-second bonus round into a fifteen minute segment is quite a frustrating watch…
Browsing around the BBC’s ‘Be On A Show’ page, there’s a contestant call for a BBC1 game show called ‘The Edge’. It apparently combines quizzing with a physical game that’s a combination of bowling and curling. I’ve downloaded a form to put myself forward for it.
Two game show records broken today in daytime:
Box 23 was bought for the highest price thus far (indeed the highest price since opening day on New Year’s Day!): £12,200
I believe today’s prize pot on The Chase was the highest ever in a Civilian episode: £80,000 between two.
I’ll not spoil how they ended for those of you who fancy a catch up!
Been gorging on 31 Questions now, just damn good fun to watch.
Apparently there is a show in the wings at the moment called “The Target” hosted by Gabby Logan… does anyone know anything about this?
Unless it’s an English language version of French show “La Cible”, not a clue.
Have we heard anything more about The 21st Question since it was first announced? It’s been quite a while since then.
It’s been filmed, I expext it will go out around August in the The Chase slot a la Take On The Twisters last year.
