Likely to be of interest to Bother’s Bar punters, fans and crew of Knightmare are trying to put together a convention at the old Norwich studios the show was originally filmed, and includes a premiere screening of the extended version of the Geek Week episode and the chance to play one of the original rooms using the original chromakey technology.
You can donate, and thereby get yourself a ticket from Indiegogo. They’re after £12k and have sixteen days left, expect it will be a bit touch and go, but if you want it then go for it.
MEANWHILE Cory Anotado is back with a new series of Game Show Gauntlet on Youtube live on Sunday nights. It includes adult references, swearing and really good recreations of rounds of shows (and an amusing use of Box 23) – the first one was this evening, you can watch it below and also subscribe to his Youtube channel so you need never miss it.

670k for a DoND that good? Tipping Point is tearing it apart even with only a half-hour overlap.
Interesting things: The Chase is outnumbering Pointless for the first time in ages (albeit with plus one, presumably).
If a game looks like it’s going bad on DoND, it looks like they’re not hanging around for the Magic Fairy Box, they’re just switching to Tipping Point. Who’d have thought.
Two million for Tipping Point! Do you remember when I was the only person in the world not to consider it the worst thing ever broadcast? Great days.
Channel 4’s afternoons have basically collapsed without Coach Trip.
Revenge of the Egghead not really doing the business, although it must be nice for 12 Yard to be in the position that if the spin-off fails, at least they can just make more of the original. I’m sure it’s more complicated than that, but that’s how it will likely end up, so.
Hey, some of us called Tipping Point “something worth watching”. I’m pleasantly surprised at how a summer experiment has taken off. A superb job by Ben Shepherd.
I’m tempted to excuse Channel 4 with its sports commitments this week, but a sub-Only Connect score for Noely? That’s poor. Nothing novel on the schedule until the end of the month, at least.
Mr. Howell’s reference to “an episode that good” refers to the content, where a contestant took the top two boxes to the finish, and dealt for an offer of £170,000. It’s the highest deal ever, and the second time the top two have been the final two without a deal.
