I discovered this morning that Travis lost his stroke battle this morning at the age of 30 (edit: apologies, 29, 30 next month), which is no age at all. Our thoughts are with his family.
Travis was a regular contributor to the comments of this site (his knowledge of contestant minutiae remains unmatched), and was a source for much of our feature material. He will be missed.
My sincerest condolences to Travis’ family and friends. Rest in peace 🙁
Thoughts and prayers to his family…29 is such a young age to go..
I’m shocked and saddened by this news. I’ve chatted to Travis in the past and he was always friendly and very informative. He always made very useful contributions to sites like this so he wlll be missed.
Such sad news, not to mention incredibly unfair. Condolences to his nearest and dearest.
I’m in total shock. Condolences to his family and friends at this time. Really sad news.
My condolences to his family and friends.
29.
I read last week that Travis had a stroke. I’d been coming on here the past few days hoping that there would be a post saying that he is better. I come on here tonight and the news is truly saddening.
His gameshow related nerdery was awesome. What was that contestant on before? He’d know it.
Life isn’t fair but death is even crueller.
RIP.
So sad. I didn’t know Travis but from his comments, and appearances on things such as fifty-fifty I know his knowledge was truly awesome. Condolences to his family.

I also only knew him from the things he posted online, but I can definitely say the world is a less interesting place without him. Rest in peace.
Knowing how good/expert he was on all things international game shows – anyone want to consider naming the Best Overseas Show in the Bar/UKGameshows End of Year Poll after him?
Would be a fitting tribute to a valued member around here.
Farewell Mr P. It was a pleasure to talk gameshows with you around here, sir. Condolences to his family.
I don’t think that’s a bad idea all told. We’ll see.
I concur.
So do I.
We won’t forget him. Someone with a highly distinctive place amongst us, and a genuinely nice man.
Just to echo everyones comments – sad news indeed.
I can’t offer anything that hasn’t been offered already, I can only add my voice of condolences to his family and to the fact that he will be missed.
An awful time of year to lose someone you love. My thoughts are with those closest to him.
Very sad news indeed. 29 is very young. My condolences to his family and friends. His contributions here and elsewhere will be missed. RIP
Oh wauw. That is shocking news. My condolences to family and friends.

Absolutely tragic, very inspirational person.
So sorry to hear this, best wishes to family and friends, stay strong.
Have only just seen this – was genuinely taken aback. A man passionate about his biggest hobby to the point of expert status.
