It’s a sequence, what comes fourth? Time starts NOW!
- Love and adventure
- Cash to spend
- Love and affection
- Two or three friends
They’re the Things That Dreams Are Made Of (or at least, the things that everyone needs) by The Human League, which awesomely popped up on my iPod this morning. Well done to Mark D for being the first, and everyone else for the reasoning.

Sounds like a programme theme from “We Need Answers”. I know it isn’t (yet) but I’m just saying (i.e. typing).
Aww, I thought you of all people would get this off of the first one!
I’ll take a random punt at Winter while waiting for the next clue.
I’m intrigued by your line of thinking.
I was thinking ‘____ In New York’ films released in 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007,
Is it:
Love and affection
2 or 3 friends
?
Sorry, didn’t see it asked for 4. Is it ‘2 or 3 friends’ Victoria?
Why do you think that?
Oh goshdarn, once I saw “cash to spend” (but before I saw Mark D’s post) I got it! And to think that the first thing that popped into my head upon seeing “love and adventure” was that that’s like “Love and Dancing”, the largely instrumental remix album of “Dare” which I dug out only last weekend! But I still didn’t make the connection! Duh.
well not that i can really answer for Mark D, but those four would be lyrics from a human league song. which i cant quite remember the name to…
That’ll do, well done everybody! But mainly Mark D.
If I had two friends I could go on the show.
In the meantime I’ll stick to having a go at the questions on here.
I can’t hep but think the two events might be related….
You should put together a Bother’s Bar team! Try and get David Bodycombe in it, I think you’d do rather well.
Gamekeeper turned poacher!
…For some reason I’m thinking this might be something to do with phases in a boardgame. (Go on adventures, gain cash to spend, etc.) But I’ll be damned if I can think what game.
However, in the spirit of blind guesses: Score Loot
“Things I’m currently looking for” ?
Awwwwww…
Odd One In is a new ITV gameshow produced by Endemol which will be on air this summer on Saturday nights. It’s 8 episodes, each 45 mins long. Bradley Walsh is hosting.
I didn’t guess, but I did look up to see whether it was a line in the theme tune to the Gummi Bears cartoon from when Brig was about 3.
Well I do quite enjoy bouncing here and there and everywhere.
Worst. Battle music. Ever.
Not sure if this has been mentioned already but the New Zealand version of the Apprentice started the other week, featuring a rather shocking remix of For The Love of Money as its theme tune.
