It’s a sequence, what comes fourth? Time starts NOW!

  • Love and adventure
  • Cash to spend
  • Love and affection
  • Two or three friends

They’re the Things That Dreams Are Made Of (or at least, the things that everyone needs) by The Human League, which awesomely popped up on my iPod this morning. Well done to Mark D for being the first, and everyone else for the reasoning.

Join us next time for more Questions That Are A Bit Too Esoteric For Only Connect! Bye!

Oh goshdarn, once I saw “cash to spend” (but before I saw Mark D’s post) I got it! And to think that the first thing that popped into my head upon seeing “love and adventure” was that that’s like “Love and Dancing”, the largely instrumental remix album of “Dare” which I dug out only last weekend! But I still didn’t make the connection! Duh.

If I had two friends I could go on the show.

In the meantime I’ll stick to having a go at the questions on here.

I can’t hep but think the two events might be related….

You should put together a Bother’s Bar team! Try and get David Bodycombe in it, I think you’d do rather well.

…For some reason I’m thinking this might be something to do with phases in a boardgame. (Go on adventures, gain cash to spend, etc.) But I’ll be damned if I can think what game.

However, in the spirit of blind guesses: Score Loot

Odd One In is a new ITV gameshow produced by Endemol which will be on air this summer on Saturday nights. It’s 8 episodes, each 45 mins long. Bradley Walsh is hosting.

Not sure if this has been mentioned already but the New Zealand version of the Apprentice started the other week, featuring a rather shocking remix of For The Love of Money as its theme tune.
