Lots of interesting things this weekend, we are most excited about the new series of BOTHER’S BAR FINANCIALLY BACKED Aussie quiz 31 Questions, Fort Boyard (of course) and look out for a Show Discussion post on Break the Safe later.
For now, there’s a new Fifty 50 Show out where TV’s Paul Brassey chats to Lewis Murphy about pitching gameshows from the point of view of someone who works in professional development. I haven’t listened to it yet, but I expect it will be very interesting.
Speaking of fun online shows, I came across this yesterday. An English (American) ‘Asian-style’ variety/game show:

(The other parts are linked to in the details below the video).
It genuinely had me laughing out loud throughout – the Pass It On game in particular!
For what was a pilot online gameshow I thought it was brilliant. Hoping they make some more!
Awesome – will look at properly tomorrow.
Yeah that was quite good fun, although I reckon it should have had *more* graphics.
Pass It On was the basis of CBBCs Copycats of course, although I’m surprised nobody has tried to adapt it since.
It was actually also lacking an over-use of sound effects. I saw a Chinese show once where the sound guy must have been mashing a keyboard that played sound effects. Constantly. Nonstop.
Never seen Copycats. Maybe I should have…
Anyway, really do want more of this show. For a first episode I thought it was really well done.
