It’s Easter.
Easter eggs.
Geese lay eggs.
The singular form of geese is goose.
The Italian/Spanish word for goose is “oca”.
And somebody’s uploaded lots of episodes of the Spanish version of Il Grande Gioco dell’ Oca, El Gran Juego de la Oca, the original Italian version on Rai Due was required viewing on my television on Friday nights in the early nineties.
Not seen it mentioned (thoguh I’ve probably completely missed it) but looks like Countdown has had it’s first format change in about a decade with a 4th numbers game added and a letters game dropped.
Looks like the show is now structured:
LETTERS – LETTERS – NUMBERS
BREAK
LETTERS – LETTERS – NUMBERS
HALF-TIME GUEST CHAT
LETTERS – LETTERS – NUMBERS
BREAK
LETTERS – LETTERS
ORIGIN OF WORDS
LETTERS – LETTERS – NUMBERS
CONUNDRUM
Yes it’s been covered. I think the change is sensible.
