So MIPCOM has been and gone for another year. We’ll let you read Buzzerblog’s round-up as there’s no point in duplicating effort. In a nutshell:
- The Bank Job won best game show format at the awards. Wow, really? (series 1 discussion, series 2 discussion)
- The Money Pump is the hot new quiz format. Wow, really? (Discussion)
- DIVING WARS.
- Catchphrase is coming back to ITV.
I expect we’ll be talking about ALL of these things on Fifty 50 Show this weekend.
IN OTHER NEWS, The Great Escape has been cancelled. Pity.
As found on YT: “Les Aventuriers” – relevant part starts at 1:29:00 … https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3kjL-bxN_WQ
Only one game, but it does involve guns. Also the running round the fort bit is a bit more extreme.
Just a couple of things I picked up on during the week which may (or may not!) have been missed:
Monday’s (8th Oct) Deal Or No Deal broke new ground with the first ever 2nd Offer Deal.
On Tuesday’s Daybreak (here – http://www.itv.com/itvplayer/video/?Filter=326347 – final part) Bradley Walsh is on and mentions a Christmas (possibly Panto, he suggests) Celeb Chase!
And on Thursday’s Pointless (S7E32) one contestant gave arguably the flukiest Pointless answer ever in Round 2 then went on to win the large jackpot of £12,750 by lucking out on an obscure category they knew lots about in the Final.
Fort boyard news. It returns for a Halloween Speical on 31st October this month. With new Story, and Titles. and the fort looking good as always in its night time view
Here a link to the Titles and the Story titles thing

Also There seems to be a Idevice App for Fort boyard being released on the 25th. With some of the games on there. It looks really good i hope to get a copy of it.
