It would probably be remiss not to point out that we’re having a chat about Japan’s Battle For Money in the Exit Stage Right thread here. It’s Celebrity Adventure Dodgeball, basically.
Meanwhile it’s the TV Choice Awards 2012, most shows have been nominated. You can decide who wins.
In other news, 14-18 year olds who want to apply for Fort Boyard season three can write to fortboyard@foundationtv.co.uk for an application form.
Just watched something over on the Extreme Sports channel (419 on Sky) called ‘Gotta Grudge’. It’s an American show where 2 people who have a grudge get in a boxing ring and have a 3-round fight to settle said grudge. The second show of a 2-show double bill had a British guy named Loz fight both bouts in the show. His first was with his American roommate who sold his possessions, including a guitar signed by the Pet Shop Boys, while Loz was away in Britain dealing with a family emergency. Loz won that fight. After the break, they then set up the second grudge. The person the Yank sold the guitar to, named Josh, tried to sell it back to Loz for DOUBLE what Loz had paid for it in the first place. Loz won that fight as well, so Josh, being the good sport he was, gave Loz his guitar back.
Interesting, sounds like Grudge Match without the ‘fun’ elements https://www.bothersbar.co.uk/?p=4358
Possibly a sad end for the home of TV poker:

Sad news, even if Late Night Poker isn’t quite the show it once was. Does that mean Only Connect is in danger as well?
I wouldn’t think so. If worst came to the worst, one of the other companies in the group could make it. But in the meantime, series 6 is already in the can and being edited.
