I completely forgot about this on Sky Atlantic. So what’s it like?

    Non-spoiler review.

6 strangers enter. The host and narrator Pip Torrens (no I’ve not heard of him either but he’s actor) gives a bried introduction to the 6 people and they have a minute or two to introduce themselves over a pre-dinner glass of wine.

After the short introduction, they each have to mark each other in terms of their favourite down to their least favourite and the person with the lowest score leaves.

The other 5 sit down for dinner and are given £1,000 for their prize pool to start with. They are then each asked a question which is either

A Without Prejudice type question – in today’s episode “Who out of 4 categories of people would they choose to house first”
A question whose answer is one of the other contestnats
    or
A question where they have to rate themselves on something from 1 to 10.

The other 4 contestants have to predict what the person will say – each correct answer adds £1,000 to the prize pool.

This is repeated for all 5 contestants, which takes us about 2/3rds of the way through the show.

Only 4 people make the final bit so each person picks a card at random, one is marked and that person has to pick their favourite and least favourite person, the latter has to leave the show.

Then one person is picked to answer a final question whose answer is one of the other 3 remaining contestants. £1,000 again if they get it right.

This means the total prize money is between £1,000 and £7,000 and the 4 contestants then have to rate each other again (excluding themselves). The contestant with the highest rating wins the money.

It’s a slightly interesting format with the players trying to predict each other based on limited contact but there’s really not much to the show. It’s not really cut-throat enough to be like Big Brother and there’s no cookery involved.

It’s OK but nothing memorable and I probably wouldn’t make a point of watching it again.
