Here’s a fun thing I came across, it’s an episode of Australian Wheel of Fortune from 1984. I like Aussie Wheel, despite everything (odd scoring system, wheel that carries on spinning forever), it’s got spunk. The host is Ernie Sigley who these days would come across as a slightly dodgy uncle I think and probably says something about how Australia may have changed culturally in the last thirty years. The hostess is the famous Adriana Xenides, letter turner for about 20 years, one of the first letter turners to have a speaking role in fact:

If you’ve been watching, last nights USBB double eviction ep was probably one of the best ones in the show’s history…
The only reason I saw the CBB eviction live was because there was a thunderstorm outside, and I don’t want another router fried by lightning… Anyway, three thoughts:
1) Not giving the phone vote numbers at the top of the show? That’s a bizarre production decision, or an error.
2) Having the interview studio where it is, that’s a masterstroke. Shame about the red lighting, it felt like watching a White Stripes video at times.
3) Brian’s interview technique is promising, but it’s not spontaneous.
