More Wipeout season three dripfeeding.
Quite difficult to make out what’s on the screens this time though. Roll-on the Summer.
Time’s almost up for the 2009 Poll! Make sure you get your votes in by Sunday! It is unbelievably nip and tuck between two shows in the Golden Fiver, and the hunt to make the top five in the other categories is very tight.
And may as well give it a front page berthing, Accumulate! Is! Back! For the first semi-final.
Plus! I’m taking requests for the next batch of old Weekend Specials to go up at the weekend. We will start doing new features again soon as well.
New! I’ll promote this to the front page, because it’s fun. Chris M Dickson writes:
A friend suggests the next great Twitter game: #gameshowfilms – film titles adapted to include game show titles – and starts us off with Catchphrase Me If You Can. Can we do better? My contribution is SpiderMan O Man, or perhaps Austin Powers in Going for Goldmember.
I’m convinced you won’t beat Y Briodas Fawr-ther of the Bride, but you’re welcome to try.
Zinc or Swim, there.
Boom Boom! I’m also available for panto.
I’m a fan of Cole’s Law, myself.
This is fun (ish), the BBC’s archive pages about the NHS include this special quizzy edition of “Parents and Children” from 1973:
Here lies the link
I suppose this could be a round-up item… I just got off the phone with the production team for Aussie Deal… while I’m fully aware that they audition everyone who sits in the audience and thus everyone could be a contestant, I figured that maybe they’d let me sit in somewhere, even behind the scenes… nope nope nope!
I was hoping for an Irish Deal experience like Mister Al… apparently not though!
I am excited though that soon the games that I saw recorded will air, and it looks like I’ve got Hot Seat tickets sewn up for my Australian visit in March.

PokerFace/Off.
The Dark Crystal Maze?
Would it be cheating to suggest Interceptor and The Cube?
Not cheating, but probably not in the intended spirit.
Take Me Out of Africa.
Cheating one – The Color Of Money
Non-cheating one – The Brainbox Challenge That Wouldn’t Die
One vs one hundred and one dalmatians
I’d quite like to see that!
It’s a Knockout of Africa
Wipeout of Africa.
I mean, I could go on.

Did ITV ever finish airing that series of Shafted, and if they keep losing money will they eventually get desperate enough to if not?
And if that happens, will it count for the relevant Poll Of The Year as a new show?
