Poker

When you think about it, Control is a little bit like poker, isn’t it?

What better way then to advertise on this weekend’s game of the BotherSOP – the first double points, double money double stack of the season. There will be a ton of money floating around, and you could grab a lot of it.

The game will be afoot (it won’t be, it will be hold ’em as always) from Sunday at eight. Details as ever on the BotherSOP page. If you’ve not joined us before, then what a time to join, frankly.

    A day ruined..
I can’t have been the only one to have watched Masterchef last night (the first in the new ‘masterchef HQ’) and mumbled out aloud “Ohh – I wonder if that’s the same stage that The Million Pound Drop is broadcast live from?”

It’s the three sided balcolny, and a very high lighting grid (it was so high, you couldn’t see the light reflection on Greg’s polished bonce) that led me to think that.

But a rather unsucessful day at the Googleface trying to find out if i’m right. Anyone here know?
Endemol Joe? Did they find the faint smell of food in the studio when the set for TMPD was reconstructed for the winter runs last year?

I’ve been a bit busy lately, but rest assured you’ll be able to relive some of the carnage that took place in the last game by this time tomorrow!

So Winter Wipeout finished last night in the US, but it’s performed so well the next batch of episodes have been advanced and will begin airing in two weeks time.

Some news from France: TF1 have commissioned their own version of Push The Button, with Vincent Lagaf’ hosting.

Planning to put it out in primetime, too – rather than their usual early evening gameshow zone.
