This is probably an unnecessary prediction by this point, but I think Ria might have the hand-eye coordination for a higher hit rate, but Stefan has the strength to get more distance. Stefan’ll likely take this one.
Or I could be wrong, and she’s trying to hit the balls like tennis balls, flailing somewhat wildly to hit each one.
Stefan lands a hit, which basically puts him in line to win this one. I don’t know how many innings are being played, but it seems to be six pitches each inning or something like that.
OK, third inning. Ria finally gets on the board with a 42.50m hit. Stefan just keeps hitting it harder, though, knocking one 59m. But in the fourth and final inning, she strikes out again, so the shutout continues!
Ria hits another nice long shot in the fourth inning, but not long enough to trump her last hit. Also, she appears to have switched to right-handed hitting now. But no matter, it’s the end of the game, and Stefan’s 59m hit takes the win.
I’m not entirely sure, but I think they’re trying to mow the most grass (by weight) in a five-minute period. To make things interesting, they’re both mowing the same playing area at the same time.
Game 8 is Rasenmaehen, “Lawn Mowing”. Apparently, both Ria and Stefan will cut as much of a field of grass as possible in 5 minutes. They’ll have to come back to home base to empty their bags every so often. Whoever cuts more grass will win.
Game 9 is Das Pendel. It appears they have to make a pendulum knock down a series of dominoes in the fastest time by manipulating the string while high up on a lift.
At this point, I’ve got to step out for an assignment, so hopefully I’ll catch up on the rest of the events later (it doesn’t seem like there’ll be many events left…).
Game 9 is “Das Pendel”–Pendulum. Standing high above the stage, the players must swing a Foucault pendulum so that it knocks all the red blocks off the round ledge as quickly as possible. Stefan goes first, so Ria has to sit by blindfolded.
Stefan finishes in 3:07. One particularly cruel rule to this thing is that the dominoes have to be completely knocked off the platform. Stefan technically toppled all of the dominoes in about 2:05, but had to take an extra minute just to remove two that were already down (and thus, harder to hit).
I thought we had finally found something Ria was good at, but sadly, not she wasn’t good enough. Stefan takes the quiz 7-6, and now more than ever, it’s a must-win situation for our Fraulein.
According to the German Wikipedia, no player in the history of the show has been completely shut out, although one player only racked up 3 points. Let’s hope she doesn’t make the wrong kind of history in the next few minutes…
Game 11 is Inliner. Is Ria any good at rollerblading? We’ll find out! Ria and Stefan will take turns doing laps through the studio. Each pair of races is taken individually. Whoever wins 3 races out of 5 wins.
And that’s Stefan, who shuts Ria out, 66-0. Let’s hope that on our next episode, the Saturday before Christmas, we find someone who can win the million euro jackpot!
Ria’s last shot is a 3, so Stefan wins 15-14. The score is now 21-0 Stefan… yikes.
Ria needs 4 to tie, a bull’s-eye to win. She only gets 3. Stefan extends his lead to 21-0.
Game 7 is Baseball!
Game 7: Baseball! And we’re going outside now.
By the looks of the field, it’s going to be a home run derby-esque game, with point values for different distances hit.
By the looks of things, they’re gonna hit for distance.
This is probably an unnecessary prediction by this point, but I think Ria might have the hand-eye coordination for a higher hit rate, but Stefan has the strength to get more distance. Stefan’ll likely take this one.
SIX strikes and you’re out?! Whatever.
Oh, it’s six swings, whether hit or missed, fair or foul.
Stefan takes the first inning, 34.80m to Ria’s zero.
Or I could be wrong, and she’s trying to hit the balls like tennis balls, flailing somewhat wildly to hit each one.

You don’t have to swing at every pitch, Ria! Another zero!
It appears the chat window next to the feed has turned into a PC v. Mac discussion. Ah, the excitement of baseball.
Stefan hits another ball in the second inning, and boosts his distance to 46m.
Well there then, third inning and Ria finally gets on the board. 42.50m, she’s on the right track.
And after a couple of grounders, Stefan comes back with a 59-meter-er.
Ria hits another nice long shot in the fourth inning, but not long enough to trump her last hit. Also, she appears to have switched to right-handed hitting now. But no matter, it’s the end of the game, and Stefan’s 59m hit takes the win.
So it’s what, 28-0 now?
Game 8, Rasenmahen. There appear to be lawnmowers conveniently placed near the ballfield.
I’m not entirely sure, but I think they’re trying to mow the most grass (by weight) in a five-minute period. To make things interesting, they’re both mowing the same playing area at the same time.

I feel bad for whatever grounds crew that has to fix the landscaping from hell these two are doing right now.
Ria: 5.9kg
Stefan: 10.95kg
So it’s… 36-0 for Stefan.
Can’t Ria do anything well?! She’s losing 36-0!

One left at 2:33!
So close, but Ria fails to knock off the last block in time. 45-0 Stefan.
Ah, so close! She only had one left to knock off when time ran out! It’s now 45-0 in Stefan’s favor.
Game 10 is that one I can’t spell. And here’s that guy whose name I can’t remember!
Game 10–you knew it was coming, it’s “Blamieren oder Kassieren”. Here comes Elton! Let’s hope Ria can answer some questions.
In what appears to be a first for tonight, Ria is ahead 2-1!
(Okay, I’m seriously gone now.)
Well Stephan is gonna have an early night methinks..
I thought we had finally found something Ria was good at, but sadly, not she wasn’t good enough. Stefan takes the quiz 7-6, and now more than ever, it’s a must-win situation for our Fraulein.

The women have never done well against Stephan the few times they’ve gotten picked…The games seem fairly balanced, so I don’t think it’s that..
What a way to wrap up the 25th show. A total whitewash.

That’s one way to lose viewers- I wonder if the next show will have problems because of the shutout?
I doubt it. Stefan Raab is basically a legend in Germany. I’d bet the viewers chose a woman so Raab can win easily and let the jackpot rollover.
Don’t forget, Schlag den Star returns on Friday at 7.15pm.
