It’s a sequence, it’s also a picture round. What would you expect to see in the fourth picture? Good luck!
And the answer ISSSSS:
A very big WELL DONE to one-time record-exec James Williams, who got it in the final twenty minutes. It is, OF COURSE, things wished for in 1995 rap classic I Wish by Skee-Lo:
I wish I was a little bit *taller*,I wish I was a *baller*,I wish I had *a girl who looked good*, I would call her,I wish I had *a rabbit in a hat with a bat* and a ’64 Impala
Well that was fun, well done everyone and especially congrats to James – two points.
It’s Schlag den Raab tomorrow.
big cook little cook?
Interesting. Why?
Big Brother? They’re both male and you’re pointing at the bigger one. No Idea which sequence that starts though.
That’s interesting. I had a connection in mind from seeing the first picture, which I dismissed because I couldn’t see how you were going to come up with cryptic clues for the next three in the sequence. But since picture two follows the sequence exactly (only literal instead of cryptic), I’ll stick my neck out and say that picture four somehow represents “shooting guard” or “off guard”.
I’m intrigued, what do you think the first picture represents?
“Big man”.
What do you think picture three is going to be?
If my sequence was right, then the next would represent the number 3 on a basketball team, “small forward”. Maybe Ronnie Corbett standing in front of Ronnie Barker, or something of that nature.
Incorrect, I’m afraid to say.
I guessed that from the fact you asked. But that was one hell of a coincidence.
I was interested because I couldn’t see where your line of thinking was going. Good questions should be ultimately solvable in two, as I recall, and I wouldn’t have spotted that particular connection.
It’s harder setting questions then you’d think. That David Bodycombe should get a pay rise (you can link to this post if you want, David).
Would it help if I had a clue who the lady in picture 3 was?
Not in this instance. But for the record it’s Miss Malaysia 2007, it says here.
Damn you and your filenames, Brig!
I’ve learned my lesson!
😀
Still not peeking at the filenames yet, does it have anything to do with the fact that number two is a member of the Harlem Globetrotters, like Harlem something? Harlem Nocturne? Nocturne, Toccata and Fugue? Picture four is a pan of fudge.
Nope.
Is it a light bulb turned off?
Why?
I was thinking it’s something to do with the hits of 5ive.
Big Man being some reference to We will rock you
Slam Dunk Da Funk
Something….
When the lights go out
Yeah, yeah, whatever.
However, Red Dress was by Sugababes.
Right, I’ll chuck in an extra hint, as it seems that first clue is leading some down the garden path.
Say what you see, but “big” is wrong.
You’re all going to kick yourselves/me when this is all over (that isn’t a clue, by the way).
I think this would be a fairer clue 1:

Is it a telephone? Hello?
Sorry, scrap that. I mean – is it a rabbit in a hat with a bat
and a ’64 Impala?
VERY WELL DONE!
Of course, now I’m curious if David would somehow find a way to work pictures composed in MSPaint into a picture question on the show. Extra points for use of Comic Sans.
MS Paint?
MS Paint?
That was done in your finest Paint Shop Pro, thanks very much.
That is quite funny, actually.
Is Simon Cowell gonna have a crack at the format whose latest incarnation turned out Bingo Lotto?

I’m not sure it will really work unless a) the guests are big enough or b) enough people do it to create a buzz. It was never going to work on cable, on mainstream terrestrial, it might stand a chance.
