For some reason the BBC programme page for Unbeatable has today’s episode as “Episode 1 of 30”. Perhaps they’ve made 30-minute edits of all 30 45-minute episodes?
Don’t know. It wouldn’t be the first time a press release got its details wrong though.
Please don’t mess this up please. While unlikely I would love for Jonathan Lapaglia to host. I actually think Dermot O’Leary could do a good job but we will most likely get somebody totally unsuitable like Rylan.
I hope they take their lead from Australia and not the USA. The USA one now is sadly not the same show I grew to love. Game breaking twists no thank you. They are also not casting as well as they once were. I have just rewatched Winners at War which was the last time I enjoyed the US series made me remember the good old days when Survivor US was good
Rick Edwards was just saying how great a format he thinks Survivor is on Five Live breakfast last week.
If he can fit it in with a daily live radio show I think he’d be a great host. Especially since he likes the show.
Yeah, surprised his name hasn’t come up actually. Two months off his breakfast show is quite a big ask though.
Agree about taking the lead from Australia- and the commercial free hour should help in meaning they can get a reward and immunity challenge in each episode.
Can’t really call it on the host – like the suggestion of Mark Chapman but in needs to be someone who can basically take two months away from their day job.

From next week Lingo in Italy has a new hostess, a new nonpurple set and a new 7 PM timeslot.
And a new network: it’s going on La7, whose last aired gameshow was Cash Cab in 2013. Fingers crossed.
