I’m struggling to see how this remains compelling after a few questions have been answered incorrectly. Still, though.
Also One and Six Zeros would be a great title for a strategic reality gameshow.

This was commissioned soley off Dara, wasn’t it?
Intrigued to know whether it was pitched WITH Dara or pitched TO Dara, it certainly seems quite a “get”.
Just repeating what I said on Twitter:
The interesting difference between 1&000000 and the Chance des Lebens/pre-DOND Millionjacht final is one added a zero for a correct answer, this knocks one off for getting it wrong. Technically same thing from two different angles, but I think first more compelling than second.
Might be wrong, very dangerous to bet against King of Daytime Hugh Rycroft, but we’ll see.
I don’t think the idea is going to work.
I’m sure Moneybags will do better with up to £200,000 per episode to be won. (Possibly make the biggest weekly daytime tv payout ever of up to £1,000,000)
Always thought there was a format in the six zeros in a million idea but this loses me with the lazy name before we even get to the format.

My guess is they’ll pull the same trick as Million Pound Drop and make the first couple questions mind-numbingly easy to keep the potential jackpot high, then the last question or two will be eye-rollingly impossible with pointless subject matter that nobody in their right mind would study, e.g. “Which of these celebrities got married first? [List of celebrities who all got married in different months of 1970]”
I wonder if they’ll be an element of backing themselves, so they won’t hear the answers until all the questions have been asked and then have to decide how much prizemoney they want?
