Do you know how hard it is to keep finding relevant egg-based things for this every year? Do you ever think about that? No I don’t think you do. One of these days I’ll just link to a random episode of Eggheads and be done with it.
So here’s an episode of CBBC’s Why Did The Chicken? Happy Easter!
If anybody wants to give me a meeting with a TV commissioner, I’ll pitch a show that’ll be perfect for your content woes: An egg and spoon race using comedically oversized prop eggs and holders, and conducted over a Total Wipeout-style obstacle course.
I’m *sure* I’ve seen something along those lines. Possibly on an old It’s A Knockout?
Yeah, even as I was writing it I felt like this can’t be something I just made up myself, though I’m struggling to think where I might have seen it before. I was semi-joking when I suggested it anyway, but I think it’s actually an interesting concept – and just in case we’re both wrong and it is actually an original concept, I’ve now sent it to myself in recorded post so I have evidence for a royalty claim 😉
Surely enough reality shows have used balut and century eggs and the like by now.
Seems to be an oversight on Pointless earlier with two possible answers to one question – a 5 letter word beginning with S and also a name for making an exit in a huff. The intended answer was Sally, but they had to accept Storm, which was a lower score.
Strop as well, no?
Well here’s an Easter treat with no calories- the US pilot of The Whole 19 Yards….
