“Alterations” as in chucking the lot in the skip and starting again?

Also it’s only just now I’ve noticed Eurovision’s round the corner, and Brig hasn’t put down the entries sarcastically yet.

I have made a deliberate attempt not to do that this year, and by ‘deliberate’ I mean ‘never found the time to’, and there probably isn’t much point now.

if you are of the apple persuasion brig, then itunes has the album up for 30 sec previews, and an app, which ive yet to try.

failing that, azerbaijan are favourites with a song that one can only presume rihanna turned down.

AMAZING, tempted to get knocked out early this evening to watch it before it inevitably gets taken down.

It’s the first ep I’ve ever seen fully, and to put it bluntly, I LOVE it.

He’s re-upped Part 5, if you prefer watching on Youtube.

Anyway, thanks for that! They appear to have dialled down some of the tasks compared to the last one (I quite liked the coin system, the prison break and the 50-odd Hunter release from the previous episode), but still very enjoyable.

    Hmm – how about this..
Saturday night – Push The Button leads into the X-factor which starts to air sometime between 8-9ish (and Push The Button therefore goes up against most of Strictly)

Sunday night – The Cube lead into the X-Factor results show (and therefore goes up against Strictly results)

Which means it will be up against Season 3 of Wipeout…

The answer is simple. The Cube is set to return late autumn or quarter 4 in TV terms (October onwards), so that means and by my estimation.

    Push the Button – 6 shows – 4th September-9th October
    The Cube – 9 shows – 16th October-11th December

The X Factor live shows should start on 9th October so The Cube will be the lead in for the live shows with Push the Button being the lead in to the auditions.

I cannot see The Cube airing on Sunday as All Star Family Fortunes is already coming back and will use that slot.

Interesting* fact: none of the Saturdays mentioned by Travis should be affected by international football. England has a home qualifier on Friday 3 September, and no match is scheduled on 9 October; another home match is scheduled for Tuesday 12 October.

Yes, that is interesting. So too is the initial Travis suggestion, which sounds utterly plausible.

Critical slating or not, ITV is almost as desperate for good ratings as NBC right now. Push The Button did well enough for renewal.

Will the revisions include an endgame that doesn’t just boil down to “work as a team and this seemingly difficult task is actually really very very easy”?

It has been said The Cube would run later this year along with the live X Factor shows, rather the auditions. I’d like to see one of ITV’s newer shows – either Whole 19 Yards or Take Me Out, paired up with the results show too, rather than Family Fortunes.

Absolutely the right decision by ITV too. It may have fallen way low of expectations, but ratings weren’t that bad and I think we all agreed it had something – but changes needed to be made, especially with the end game (DAVE needs his P45!). Well worth a second shot rather than resurrecting Takeaway or trying something new yet again – if it works it’ll pay off, and if it doesn’t, at least ITV can axe it having given it a chance.
