It’s that time again, but this week is EXTRA SPECIAL as Game 8 of the Bother Series of Poker is a special double stake double stack game.
LIFECHANGING amounts of money to be won – deposit now whilst sterling soars, cash out when it inevitably collapses: INSTANT MILLIONS (potentially). Details on the BotherSOP Page. Feel free to come along and join us if you haven’t played with us before.
In other poker on telly news, I notced with some amusement that the Pokerstars Carribbean Adventure shown on Channel 4 on Tuesday night seemed to take its footage directly from webstreaming blown up to television size – really very jerky and barely broadcast quality. Did anyone else see this?
Uhh…
…Is this a gameshow? I genuinely can’t tell and since it’s not the BBC we don’t get to rely on their oh so handy “Oh, no, this isn’t a gameshow” for anything that’s borderline but does fall into the genre.

Virgins auctioning themselves off to the highest bidder in an American brothel for Australian television, basically.
UKGS excludes “Men For Sale” which was a vaguely similar (though, presumably, less lewd) auction, even despite Ulrikakakaka hosting and one of the Mystery Men sold to an unsuspecting bidder turning out to be Paul Ross, so probably not quite.
Note to self for future reference: searching for “men for sale” at work possibly a questionable idea.
It reads like it’s for a documentary more than anything, so I’d suggest “probably not”.
