Is it just me, or does the description make it sound like the Dutch show “Succes Verzekerd” with physical money?
No, you’re not the first person to come to that conclusion.
But as Alex Davis pointed out when we talked about this earlier, Sucess Verzekerd is actually a Fremantle format, being sold under an English-language title “Risking It All” which is silly because the whole point is that you may or may not be risking it all. (The fact it is set on an accurate replica of the Million Dollar Password set is another clue in that direction.)
Million Pound Drop is an Endemol format.

“The Drop” was the original working title. Then it became “The Money Drop”. But since the logo says “Million Pound Drop”, I think that’s now the final title.
