Well I could have sworn it was getting the chop sometime ago, so I suppose it’s news of a sort.
In other news, QVC and Netplay TV – together at last! – to do some sort of selling things and gambling things late night on ITV1 under the none-more-nineties title The Zone.
Good morning! Just testing this because my comments don’t seem to be showing up.
Obviously that one did, though.
Yep, link swallowed up by spam filter. All sorted now!
I can’t help but think Toothbrush was very much of its time, I’m nto entirely sure what it would be able to offer in 2010, especially as the intervening fifteen years would have used up a lot of ideas on other shows.
I was just thinking about the “Anton du Berk” joke when I saw the tag. Bested again.
Ha ha, it would not surprise me in the slightest if someone had come with it before.
Phil Daniels actually coined the phrase “Anton du Berk” when he appeared on Strictly Come Dancing in 2008.
No surprises with the axing. Harry Hill summed it up, should’ve kept Dale Winton.
I might be wrong, but I reckon Dale jumped rather than was pushed.
Something about seeing Total Wipeout repeats on the CBBC channel made me wonder if a Hole In The Wall pairing a celeb with a kid in each team might work well for CBBC and then it dawned on me that at times the pairs are required to get themselves into…shall I say…potentially provocative clinches.
It’s probably run it’s course.
Nobody is talking about Survivor?
That has to be the biggest shock and the best move in 20 seasons.
I’ve just downloaded it, I look forward to watching it when I get back sometime this evening.
