There have been so many attempts to revive PYCR since it first ended in 1987 that I wonder if it’s a record. Revived successfully in 1994 (lasting until 1999); revived again in 2002 but not so successfully (lasting only one series); featuring in both Gameshow Marathons but on neither occasion going on to be commissioned for full series; that pilot with Vernon Kay in 2011 that also didn’t lead to a full series; and now this attempt.
Certain sources are claiming that Holly Willoughby is set to replace Ant on IAC this year.
Regardless whether or not Dec has a co-host, I probably won’t be watching, having largely gone off the show in the mid-2010s (no thanks to the producers). I’m sure 9-10 million people *will* be watching, though.
I’ll watch it, always will. I went off the show in 2011, but watched it full on the following years (though I did watch 2013’s series on and off in the middle… might’eve done that for some other series too).
If you’re at least curious to see what happens, watch here and there like I did, if there’s nothing on.
Is this news?

In some ways, it is both news and olds.
LOL!

But is the actual number higher? 😉
Is the fact that Ant is taking a longer break from TV, resulting in a solo hosting job for Dec on I’m a Celeb and no SNT next year news?

A glorious graffito, only a few years too late.
