The Crystal Maze Series 1 Part 3 is finally happening

By | April 5, 2018

Sundays at 8pm from April 15th.

This feels like a much more appropriate slot for it than the Friday one to be honest, which never felt correct, but if it can’t make it here then God knows what they’re going to do with the second series 12 episodes.

Although it’s a pity everyone’s going to complain they have the same games as the previous 13 episodes.

Definitely a better slot than Friday. Not much of a fight currently. It will challenge The Durrell’s on ITV but apart from that nothing else. I understand why they are postponing a return this Sunday due to BBC One’s surprise ratings hit Generation Game. Hopefully we get a true reading of ratings now & hopefully it justifies C4 decision to recommissioning.

The schedules would have been locked down a while before discovering that The Gen Game is a hit!

It’s also up against Antiques Roadshow, which is a monster, but has a very different audience.

Perfect slot, kids just about to go to bed so should attract a full audience hopefully. This was the slot (either that or 9pm) for the original charity special wasn’t it?

I’m looking forward to seeing the hearing impaired team that was mentioned last summer and seeing if the games were accommodated for them in anyway. Also an AC/DC tribute band too from the original interviews the executive producer did here: https://inews.co.uk/culture/television/start-the-fans-please/

This is the slot that it should have always been in but fear the damage has already been done.

It is looking like no early previews of the remaining seven episodes this time around so will be seeing them live on the night.
