Good on Dave for making up for series 5 by not putting the episode out a week in advance. Well done!
Really good first episode, it says something when the practical ingenuity task (with the exercise balls) turns out to be the weakest, probably laughed more in that episode than I have in some time. Greg picking on Josh will never stop being funny, I don’t think. Also really enjoyed Katherine Ryan’s scientific miracles.
The Buzzerblog blow things off a table task is now officially canon.

I really enjoyed this, especially the final which was great fun – “NEW PENS PLEASE”, of course, plus also Rob’s flagrant cheating, the bit where they decided to sit down to help understand it, and this exchange – Josh: “TOPIC, five!” Katherine: “Woo!”
I also really loved the rearranged theme tune.
i have just watched back the Futuristic zone and & continuity occured. When Nicola came out ofthe room pay attention to the middle door section. The door panel controller quite clearly opened too early as you see them sneakly close them back up.
Really good range of tasks on the final one. Loved the fact that the suitcase one had five different solutions (and – at least? – one they didn’t see).
Yes indeed, and those masks and Katherine’s mess were genuinely a bit jaw dropping.
It’s been a great mini-series actually.
It looks like another clue on the chalkboard involved adding up the ages of the contestants. I couldn’t immediately see any logic to any of the other scribblings.
