Bother's Eye View: Gameweek 12
It's all over! 93 days after Big Brother begins, Pete Bennett is crowned winner, winning £100,000.
And now we have some prizes of our own to give out. £75 to the winner, £25 for second place, £10 for third and £10 to a lucky punter - that's £120 total. But... who are our winners?
It's time to tally the points.
In the house!
The remaining housemates earn +5 points each for being in the house.
There were, of course, no nominations and traditional eviction this week, so no penalties or bonuses for them are applied.
Tasks, bonuses and penalties
- +3 to Pete for winning last weekend's slow bike race. Glyn is given +1 as the losing tournament finalist.
- -2 to Nikki for talking about the outside world, and being forced to remain silent at Big Brother's discretion.
- +1 to the house for the dance task.
- +1 to the house for passing audition tape task.
- +1 to the house for play task.
- +1 to the house for the future autobiographies task.
- +1 to the house for the public speaking task.
- -1 to Nikki and Richard, punished for messing with the house fittings.
- Big Brother Awards: Each housemate scores +1 point per nomination, and +2 extra if they won an award. The running totals for the evening are: +1 point to Jennie, Mikey and Imogen, +3 points to Glyn, +4 points to Richard, +7 points to Aisleyne, +10 points to Nikki and +13 points to Pete.

There we have it! Pete tops the list, and would have topped the list even without his 30 point bonus. Aisleyne controversially finishes ahead of Glyn - not just in terms of overall ranking, but she was also worth more in the final week than him. Richard made the final four, but overall he was still worth less than Imogen and Mikey, who did not. Jennie didn't do badly for herself at all, considering how late she entered.
Manager bonuses
Last week you were asked to predict the order of the final five (Pete, Glyn, Aisleyne, Richard, Nikki as it turns out). For each person you put in the correct position, you win +5 points. If you get all five correct, you win a +5 point bonus.
Throughout the series we've been asking you to predict the winner. Right at the beginning, it was worth +30 points. After week 5, it was worth +20 points, and a few weeks ago we asked again for +10 points. If you stuck with Pete from the start, and didn't change your mind at any point, you would be +60 points to the good right now.
Bother's Bar's Fantasy Big Brother League 2006: The Final Standings.
Before I reveal the results, I'd just like to say a big thank you to all the managers involved, especially those of you who stuck it out until the end. I'd like to run it again next year, but it depends on two factors: whether I can afford it (as I'm moving house in March), and whether Endemol look like they're going to put on a series worth watching or not. It's been a bit more difficult to run these last few weeks because we didn't bother tuning in - hopefully that won't be a problem next year.
And now: the results... the maximum score for this week is 212:

We have winners! A big hearty congratulations to Terence Knox with his Sexual Jihad, the Fantasy Big Brother Champion, who wins £75! And well done to Emma Burnell's Emmazulu Warriors, this year's runner up winning £25, and Tom Jenkins, who sneaks third place by a single point, winning the bronze medal with £10 stuffed inside it. Heartbreak for Ian Royal, second for so much of the later stages of the contest, only to predict Nikki to win at the 20 point mark and blow the full bonus.
Well there's just one more prize to give out - the Lucky Punter prize. We've got a GIANT bingo machine built in our beer garden, and for every point you gained as a manager, we've put one super bouncy ball inside with your name on. There are 17715 balls inside the machine, so that means that for every point, you have a 0.0000564 chance of being the Lucky Punter drawn out and winning a tenner.
It's time to start the machine!
I'm just going to put my hand inside and draw a ball out... ooh, they're quite difficult to catch... got one.
And the Lucky Punter is... Sam Howells! Congratulations, Sam!
Well that's it for Fantasy Big Brother this year. We hope you've enjoyed it. We're going to enjoy getting our Saturdays back. Until next time, managers!
