The Queen of Diamonds

By | June 2, 2012

It’s the The Voice final tonight on BBC1 at 7:20pm, so that’s exciting isn’t it? There is also a new episode of The Cube on at 8pm on ITV1

In other news, tomorrow is the grand final of Mix It Up Real Good – who will take the trophy after the big 8-game mix final? And even if you can’t win, you can still come and play for fun, 8pm on Pokerstars – make sure you’ve joined the Bother’s Bar Poker Club.

Next Sunday is the big Bother Series of Poker Grand Final, decided by a thrilling £22 entry superstack tournament – together with the league prizes being decided there will be hundreds of pounds flying around the table and YOU can try and grab a load even if you’ve never played a league game before. This is a 7:30pm start and you can register for it right now – in fact you’re positively encouraged to in case you forget the early start time and turn up too late. Again, make sure you’re signed up to Bother’s Bar’s Poker Club to play.

Have a good Jubilee weekend everyone!

Well, I’ll deffo have a go at the MIURG 8-Game Mix, even though I’m nothing more than shinydh’s meat shield…or shall I be BRIG’S meat shield so he can take the trophy for himself and save on postage? Hmm, decisions, decisions >:)

Ok, I’ve used the link provided by CMD to compile the stats requested for TCM wins:

    7 crystals – 3 wins, 5 losses.
    8 crystals – 8 wins, 4 losses
    9 crystals – 3 wins, 0 losses
    10 crystals – 2 wins, 3 losses

I’ve only analysed games where a full team of six went into the dome. Usually a team of five or less didn’t win but there was at least one team who won as a team of 5 with 8 crystals.

One of the 10 crystal losses was spectacular miss – a 53 score (138-85). The other two were 90-somethings (including series 1, ep 1).

    I can’t see a 6-crystal win.
