The mindset seems to be if it’s got a name brand host the show will do well. I absolutely fear for the direction the Survivor reboot is going in, if for one second they think this is the right move. Joel works on The Masked Singer, as the show is fun and light-hearted. A show live Survivor is the complete opposite. I had fears that the host choice would be awful for this, I dont think there has been a worse hosting choice since The Crystal Maze reboot
