They should do 8/10 Cats Do Give Us A Clue

By | March 1, 2019

So for whatever reason at my work’s tea table yesterday conversation got round to the father of utilitarianism Jeremy Bentham (via Abducted in Plain Sight, best of luck) and someone pointed out that his actual body was on display at University College London, but with a specially made head as they suggested the actual head was likely too disgusting for public consumption so they made a different head for public display.

At that point I compared him to Worzel Gummidge, the scarecrow played by Jon Pertwee who also had the ability to change heads. But because I’m the sort of guy who is popular with the 16-34 demo and hangs out with people ten years younger (I’m 37) obviously this went over their heads.

I then asked if they knew who Una Stubbs was. Of course not. I asked if I should give you a clue. My older colleague understood.

Anyway, the point is they should do 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Give Us A Clue.

Dunno if this has been brought up, but Fort Boyard 2019 stuff is already coming out.
    – Willy, Lagaf, and Delphine are coming back
    – Lagaf will have two new watercraft sports
    – Patrice Laffont (and possibly other former presenters) will be back for the 30th season as a character? Cameo? (Not as players, but having some sort of on-Fort role)
    – Apparently they are close to having another “Eva Longoria”-level celeb this year playing

Argentina have been airing their episodes from 2000 over the last few weeks. Could be a return for them this year?

Was just watching impossible celebrities and they had a question where the answer was Scott and bailey. Turns out that Sally Wainwright who was one of the celebs co created and wrote most of the episodes. Has there been any other times in a gameshow (Non deliberately of course) where a situation like that has happened or similar?

Wooops got the two confused but Sally Lindsay still was part of it and co conceived it so my point sorta still stands :-p
