Hurrah! Die Sommerpause ist kaput, Stefan Raab’s back for another thrilling night of skill games and quizzes and tonight it’s a quadruple rollover, so he’s defending €2.5m of his own money.

WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN?

Well you can join us for a LIVE text commentary right here on the Bar, if we can get naughty streaming.

A jammy shot by anyone’s standards for Manuela bringing the second set to a tie, 5-5. Sudden death!

Oh wow! Stefan loses another point for striking the white with his cue, rather than the red!

Taking out the middle pin and leaving the others alone is pretty impressive.

I want to play this, but imagine most commercial pool table operators being pretty unimpressed if you supply your own pins and, er, pocket covers to go on top of their tables.

Imagine playing it on the hexagonal pool table in that pub in Cambridge! (It might be octagonal; I’ve never been there, just seen photos.)

Mmm, hexagonal, but on a turntable. Can’t help but think the best move is ‘spin the table really fast’.

Nice pub, know it well. Used to play cards there.

Manuela manages to win the third set entirely by Stefan losing points. Raab leads 2 sets to 1.

Does that play well with two? The calling for allies part might not work so well. Otherwise I fully support the spirit of your suggestion.

I wonder if they went “Manuela’s not doing great, so we might underrun, let’s chuck in a long game”.

This is such a good choice for a game, I’m loving it.

Tense stuff! A couple of centimeters was the difference between +3 and -3 for Raab.

Manuela wins the fourth set as well. Proper excitement going into the final set!

It wouldn’t be particularly sporting, but couldn’t she just have barely tapped the white or yellow to win the round?

That opening shot of any given set looks particularly hard to me. A little unfair really.

why dont they have the color of the ball they have to hit on the scoring graphic?

Well we were both a little early on that, but the chance of Raab striking was pretty low.

Someone’s accidentally left a studio mic live on ProSieben Connect. Unfortunately, I don’t speak German, so I don’t know if terrible secrets are being unveiled.

Maybe I’m late to the party, but that is the worst call-and-lose question I’ve ever seen.

That was definitely the best game of the evening so far. Manuela making that comeback was amazing.

The ad break’s over, so on to .. another musical act. 3 in one night? That’s a fair few.

I do like the big dot-matrix screens that display the lyrics, and everything else. They’re rather early You Bet!, or – if you’re as old as me – rather Razzamatazz.
