Tonight a member of the public battles the multitalented Stefan Raab across 15 games for €2m.
The fun begins at 7:15 BST (which I suppose is 8:15 CET+1, or something) on ProSieben, and if you can’t access it through satellite keep your fingers crossed for a dodgy live feed, the last several have had one, so it would be looking good for this evening.
If you can’t wait that long, Total Wipeout‘s on at 5:15pm UK time for action packed fun.
I’m actually likely to be out for much of the evening and hopefully will be back in time to catch the last couple of games, but as ever I positively encourage the punters to discuss the show as it happens.
Stefan leads 4-3 after 6 putts each.
They both seem to be having trouble getting the pace right- Stephan hits a 4 point shot to go up 4-3 after 2 sets.
Wonder if either of the last 2 games will be a very physical one – would Stefan concede at matchpoint?
Stephan seems to have gotten it in set 3- 7 points to go up 11-3
I suppose if there’s game 14 it’d be Stimmt’s?
Well this appears to be a first – there are so many comments that a second page is warranted.
Game 13 to Stefan. He trails 41-50 now.
Game 14 looks to be a mental one.
One of the chat comments suggests that any Game 15 is always the penalty shootout. Anyone able to disprove that?
Yep. Game 15 in May 2009 was a frame of pool.
Game 14 is “When was that?”
Game 14 is a “what year did these events happen?” quiz
Game 13 was Agility-based , Game 14 is Mental/knowledge …would that make Game 15 physical-based ?
Does fit with it being the penalty shootout idea.
Not that we look like getting there as Hans-Martin takes an early lead! 2-0 in this game, first to six wins it…
First to 6 points wins game 14. Hans is 2-0 up.
It may not matter- Hans Martin is up 2-0 in a first to 6 game…
Stefan makes a guess and is wrong – point to Hans-Martin – but the game goes on, Stefan then makes another guess and is right! 3-1 now.
Stephan misses- giving point 3 to Hans Martin. He declines to try and steal, Stephan buzzes in and corrects himself to get to 3-1.
Stefan gets the next question right after a lot of clues and its 3-2.
And about 16 minutes after you guys crossed into the second page of the comments, I finally catch on. Brilliant.
Could someone explain the balloon game to me? I’m still kinda curious about what I missed.
It seemed to be some guessing game about how many objects could be taken off the tray before the balloon floated away.
4-2 to Hans.
There were about 24 eggs/balls in the basket, each take turns to remove some and decide when the basket is light enough for the balloon to carry it upwards.
5-2 and Hans is one question away from the jackpot.
It’s all over.
WIN
Next SdB : 8 May , according to the offical website.
Cheers chaps, just got in to see the last game, sounds like the episode is a bit of a keeper.
That BMX crash looked nasty in the episode end-montage.
To be honest, if Stefan Raab is happy to go down a bobsleigh run in a wok, I expect he’ll get over a mountain bike crash fairly quickly.
But you’re right it did look quite nasty in the montage.
I kinda can’t help but wonder what would have happened if Schlag hadn’t had that accident and forfeited game 10… Even prior to the accident, Stefan really seemed to be lacking in the physical games department (ladder race, M-ball, and the first lap around the mountain bike course), so if the last game was physical, I’d like to believe he still would have lost, but I can’t help but wonder now. Good show, anyhow. Marking my calendar for May 8.
As for now, it’s time for Scary Movie in German.
Dr Hans Martin Wismar, a 29 year old hospital consultant from Grevesmühlen has become Europe’s biggest winner, so far in 2010. This blitzed last weeks €1 Million Miljoenenjacht deal. Once again, Schlag den Raab has set the record straight.
I’m guessing the next show will be aired on 29th May.
Didn’t someone win 3.5 million euro?
Biggest winner in 2010. The biggest SdR win ever was 3 million.
No it’s definitely 8th May, they said so at the end.
